Overnight Academies held at the University of Delaware

Our overnight camp is a residential summer camp in Delaware for cadets entering grades 7 through 10, held on the University of Delaware campus at 100 David Hollowell Drive, Newark, DE 19716. Cadets stay two to a room, with a bathroom connecting two rooms, and a Registered Nurse is on duty.

Hands-on activities and many opportunities for problem-solving in small teams are included. All cadets will receive a camp T-shirt & many handouts about the new high-tech world they are entering.

Destination Moon is for cadets entering grades 7, 8 and 9. Destination Mars is for cadets entering grades 8, 9 and 10. Both cover rocketry, robotics, MagLev vehicles, flight simulation and field trips.

Overnight camp fee: $800, which includes the $75 non-refundable application fee. A completed application and the $75 fee reserve a place, and sessions fill quickly. See our fees and scholarships page for payment deadlines and need-based scholarships.
