Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation (DASEF)
Founded in 1989 by NASA Space Ambassador Dr. Stephanie M. G. Wright, the Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation has established itself as an innovative and progressive organization with the vision and resources required to link the science and technology of space with the education of youth, educators and the public.
For more than sixteen years, DASEF has contributed to the academic development of over 318,500 students, educators and the general public through the delivery of context-based activities consistent with current aerospace research and development. These multi-disciplinary and cooperative learning programs teach in tangible ways the skills of responsible decision-making, leadership, teamwork, critical and creative thinking and communication and listening skills.
Additionally, through its partnerships with businesses, non-profit organizations, government agencies and military groups throughout the region, DASEF provides a network through which Delaware's economy and intellectual capital can grow and be invested in future generations. With help from our partners, we strive to create a scientific and technologically literate workforce with members who take pride in the quality of their work and who believe their work can favorably impact society.
